Audley’s Week in Review:
Its been a busy week here at Audley Farm. We have been enjoying both spring rains and warm weather, however not enjoying the mud. The spring calves are growing fast and starting to enjoy running and playing together. Before we know, it will be time to synchronize springs cows and getting ready to breed. We just started weaning the fall calves and sorting bulls to send to Texas and steers to go into our quality beef program. Now we are just waiting on spring grass to kick the fall cows out and put them on cruise control for the summer. We are almost done with foaling for the spring and a majority of the mares are in Kentucky getting bred. We have a truly outstanding set of foals this year. All of us here are ready for a quiet Easter weekend and time with family. Be sure to come visit us Saturday at our farm stand for all your beef needs.
